- Even better Auto Tuning on hundreds of real dive photos — e.g. very shallow, bright turquoise sand scenes.
- Species recognition, next round More training photos, more species and an independent test set to measure accuracy honestly.
- More object masks Dedicated fish, shark and coral masks, so local edits can target them directly.
- Speed Faster RAW development and video processing.
- Denoise An own denoise network for high-ISO underwater shots — second training round done, next: careful sharpening.
Planned
- Beta for 10 testers Planned from December 2026 at the earliest — first builds for a small group of underwater photographers.
- iPhone version DepthLight on the iPhone, for editing right after the dive.
- More dive sites Spot suggestions from the community, place names, regions still missing (e.g. Addu Atoll).
- More adaptive presets Cave, wreck, night, wide angle, diver portrait.
- Feature requests & voting Vote on what comes next on the voting page — ideas are welcome any time.
